A Teal Awakening
Redefining Our Connection to Earth
Inspired by ‘the overview effect,’ a concept coined by space philosopher Frank White that describes the life-changing experience of viewing Earth from space, I felt compelled to see our planet through a new lens—one of wonder, responsibility, and possibility. This perspective led me to design a watch that embodies the spirit of Transformative Teal.
This shade, the Colour of the Year 2026, is a beautiful fusion of blue and green, reflecting both the diversity of nature and a commitment to an Earth-first mindset. It resonates with the growing demand for eco-accountability, serving as a reminder that we must build resilience in the face of complex climate challenges.
Transformative Teal represents a fresh approach to biology -whether organic or synthetic, natural or post-natural- always seeking what’s best for our planet’s future. Its cooling, calming, and restorative tones symbolize a transformative and regenerative character that urges us to find innovative, collective solutions for our world. Through my design, I hope to capture the harmony and purpose of this shade, inviting us all to look deeper and care more profoundly for our shared home.
Dusk- A Vision in Time
Introducing our Colour of the Year for 2025: Future Dusk
Future Dusk is a dark, moody and intriguing hue, sitting between blue and purple. It has a sense of mystery and escapism, and feeds into themes of transition – whether it be moving from dark to light, or dusk to dawn – making it perfect for a period of immense change. It offers a fresh take on dependable dark blue, and manages to feel simultaneously familiar and futuristic. This watch is a personal creation, inspired by the transformative essence of Future Dusk, the color of the year 2025. Symbolizing balance, introspection, and the boldness to embrace the unknown, this hue guided every aspect of the design. Its deep, mysterious tones are reflected in the watch’s sleek, modern forms, which merge timeless elegance with a contemporary edge. Each detail was crafted to embody what Future Dusk stands for—a harmonious blend of strength and serenity, tradition and progress—making this piece not just a timekeeper, but a statement of purpose and vision.
